I gained my PhD in Bioengineering in 2019 from the University of Genova. My PhD focused on the relationship between the brain’s structural organization and its function, investigating how different areas of the brain are physically linked by axons and how these links influence brain areas interactions. My thesis explored this relationship in the human brain at different ages, focusing on the adult brain and on the pediatric brain, both in healthy and pathological cases. I am currently a postdoc researcher in the Neuroengineering Lab at the University on Genoa, continuing the research work on the brain’s structure in adult and pediatric subjects, in collaboration with the Neuroradiology Unit of the Giannina Gaslini Hospital in Genova
